On Saturday, October 7 2023, Konex Cultural Center hosted this exceptional and ardent day. Activities started at 11 in the morning, with introductory presentations to the 18 Hackathon project proposals, previously uploaded by participants to Hackdash, the platform that compiles all the information on the occasion.

Teams were formed as eager participants came together, each bringing a unique set of skills and profiles to the table. These teams tirelessly worked all day long on their projects and prototypes. At 6 in the afternoon each team´s representative had the opportunity to pitch their project to an expert Jury.

The juries assessed the projects according to a number of key criteria.

These included: The alignment of the project with the central theme, its ability to address significant issues at the intersection of AI and journalism, its consideration of ethical issues, the usability of the project, the composition and structure of the team behind it, and, finally, the quality of the prototype developed.
